How We Test Tools
What We Publish
YuanqiZhiKe Toolkit publishes small, focused browser tools. Each tool is chosen because it solves one specific, recurring problem well — not to fill a category or pad a list. Every tool runs entirely in your browser: your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Our Selection Criteria
- One clear job — a tool earns a place only if it does one task end to end, without requiring the user to leave the page.
- Local-first — the tool must work without sending user data to a server. Where a feature cannot be local (for example AI generation), we say so on the tool page.
- No dead ends — the output must be usable immediately: copy, download, or export, with no forced sign-up.
How We Verify
- Each tool is opened and exercised in a real browser (Chrome and Firefox) with representative inputs before it is listed.
- We check the result against a manual calculation or a known reference value for calculators and converters.
- We confirm the "runs locally" claim by verifying that the tool still functions with the browser's network activity blocked.
Known Limits and Corrections
Small tools have limits. Where a tool relies on reference data (exchange rates, tax tables, nutrition values and similar), we state on the tool page that the figures are estimates and should be verified before any decision that matters. If you find a wrong result or a broken tool, tell us through the contact page — we investigate, fix, and note the correction date on the page.
Our Content Policy
Tool descriptions on this site are produced with AI assistance and reviewed by the site's maintainer against a fixed checklist before publication. For full detail, see our editorial policy.
